We are looking for an Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within our Highways division covering the Midlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of one of the large SDF (Scheme Delivery Frameworks) schemes.
Key Responsibilities

- Produce and develop area/regional budgets and forecasts
- Advise the Estimating Department on any potential contractual risk and methods of measurement during the bidding process
- Carry out CVR and Contract appraisals for the area / region
- Negotiate and manage sub-contract orders and payment certificates
- Assist in producing monthly contract appraisals / valuations in line with contract requirements
- Prepare and negotiate claims, adjudications or other dispute resolutions
- Overall financial monitoring and budgeting of selected contracts
- Assist with commercial responses required in Pre-Qualification questionnaires
- Assist with ensuring the governance and profitability of the projects
- Develop, manage and extend commercial relationships with client and supply chain
- Ensure timely contractual notices are issued in accordance with the contractual timeframes
- Providing support and advice to the project management teams on such matters as contract compliance, contract awareness, contract change management, claims, variations, legal and finance matters to do with both clients and subcontractors

- Relevant degree / higher, advanced or foundations qualifications
- Have of working towards professional qualifications (desirable)
- Excellent verbal communication
- Good initiative and logical thinking
- Full driving licence essential
